Canada Greener Homes Loan
A Loan to help you save energy and make your home more comfortable
The federal government has an incentive program designed to help Canadians make where they live more energy-efficient. The Canada Greener Homes Loan will help homeowners save money, create new jobs across Canada for energy advisors, and fight climate change.
What is available through the initiative:
- Up to $40,000 interest free loan for eligible and recommended energy efficiency retrofits
- Up to $600 for the combined cost of your pre and post EnerGuide evaluations
Home Renovations Saving Program
The Ontario Home Renovation Savings Program (HRSP) offers rebates for various energy-efficient home upgrades including solar panel and batteries. Launched on January 28, 2025, it helps homeowners reduce energy consumption and lower bills. Homeowners can receive up to $10,000 in rebates for solar panels and battery storage systems.
